The Knitting Club will begin by learning the two basic knitting stitches and practice by making a square. Once we know these stitches, we can make almost anything! Club members will select new projects as they learn more techniques and refine their skills. Some fun things our knitters might be making include scarves, purses and change purses, doll clothing and accessories, headbands, etc. Young knitters will also have the opportunity to use their new skill to make a difference by creating something for one of the many knitting charities. |
